CSPS Members are Invited to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) Meeting-August 14-18 in San Francisco

We are pleased to inform you that the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) has extended member rates to all members of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons who wish to attend the 20th Congress of ISAPS in San Francisco on August 14-18.   ISAPS holds their biennial Congress in North America only once every eight years.

We encourage you to visit the ISAPS Congress website www.isapscongress2010.org to register and to book your hotel room at the Marriott Marquis San Francisco.

If you are an ISAPS or ASAPS member, use your member number (the ISAPS number prevails). CSPS members who are not ISAPS or ASAPS members, enter your Last Name and the number 9999 as the member ID code.   If you encounter any problems, contact the ISAPS office at their email, isaps@conmx.net or 603-643-2325.

Congress registration already includes attendees from 80 countries and speakers representing 44 countries.   ASAPS has approved the Congress for 34 AMA PRA Category I Credits with 11.5 Patient Safety hours.  It is important that we, as plastic surgeons in the host state, show our international guests the utmost respect, hospitality and collegiality in San Francisco.

ISAPS President, Dr. Foad Nahai and Program Chair Dr. Renato Saltz have planned a special Global Summit on Patient Safety as the kick-off to this five-day, international CME event. This promised to be an intriguing session and we encourage you to attend on Saturday afternoon.

The organizing committee has planned two stellar social events at the San Francisco opera house – usually closed for rehearsals in August – and at the newly reopened California Academy of Science.

Please make an effort to join your international colleagues at this unique event in August.
